First part is setting up a related definitions such as characteristics of traditional fairy tales with connection to Japanese fairy tales specifically. Second part of the research is focused on analysis of selected fairy tale by Theodora Y. Ozaki using Vladimir Propp's Analysis of Functions in Folktales.
